Citrus KumQuat
KumQuat
A fruit that is eaten whole: pulp and skin.
Its skin is sweet and its pulp, more bitter and acid, making it the perfect combination in a citrus fruit.
Known as the Chinese orange is the smallest citrus fruit in the world, with a size between 2 and 4 centimeters. With a higher vitamin C content than oranges, the kumquat is a great natural antioxidant that cares for cardiovascular health and is especially indicated in cases of anemia and pregnancy. Thanks to its amount of fibre, it favours intestinal transit and has a satiating effect.
It is ideal for making cocktails, jams and syrup, salads, sweet and sour sauces and pie fillings.
